Natural Breakfast Nook Ideas – Mood Board Monday
I’m currently obsessed with natural home decor! There’s something about woven textures, natural wooden furniture, straw baskets, and plants (Lots of plants) that make a room feel like it’s breathing.
The key to achieving this look is incorporating organic elements into your space. It’s about bringing the outdoors in. Think earthy tones, woven accessories, rattan furniture, and nature-inspired art. I tried my hand at creating this look and came up with two natural breakfast nook concepts. Since breakfast nooks are just one small part of the home, I really wanted to keep the look simple but impactful I chose small scale and visually light pieces to avoid overcrowding and visual clutter (for all my small-space peeps. I got you babes!) This is what I came up with.

Natural Breakfast Nook Look #2: Light Grey & Natural Breakfast Nook.
It’s always fun mixing warm colors with cooler tones. This combo gives me that clean, crisp Scandinavian decor vibe, but with a nice splash of color.
With this look, I wanted to add a little color to break up all the beige tones, but not too much to detract from the natural aesthetic. The light grey upholstered bench and the wall art were enough to do the trick. Simplicity is always better!
